but here is a perfect opportunity to do so: itak, the first totally "traditional" if i may say so dinner in the russian style in many many years: solenue ogurchiki i pomidorchiki s brighton beach, ruba xolodnogo kopchenija, kartoshka varenaja s ukropom, utka pechenaja s jablokami, vinogradom i couscous (razruvaemaja na chasti kuxonnumi nozhnicami) i bottle of red wine and a bottle of really good port... for desert - ciao bello blood orange sorbet (totally divine) and bing cherries in milk and white chocolate (from t joes). nakormleno dvoe muzhchin, oba dovol'nu, u menja - vidok sovsem ne ubituj. (p.s. of course - forgot that for the soup - asparagus soup with crabmeat)
